Windows open, sun streaming in and shuffle on iTunes reminding me of the folly of my policy of ripping every CD that crossed my desk at work or downloading every review .mpeg sent to us.
New Thea Gilmore album this afternoon probably. (If its good enough for Neil Gaiman its OK for me.)

An old album for me ..while walking from the garage in Hexham to grab a coffee at Starbucks on the edge of town ( waiting for front brake pads to be fitted )
Neneh Cherry ..Man ..
It's not all about classic rock ..just most of the time

We discovered Richard Swift (of the shins amongst others) on a freinds recommendation yesterday and both really enjoying it. Quite summery as you'd expect but quite Elvis Costello/Brendan Benson too.

Elvis Costello/Brendan Benson too.

That's a winner right there.

Slowthai is a Northampton boy and as much as I'd like to support a local musician he's not my bag.

I've been listening to Balance Presents Uone this week. This is a particular favourite on the album as I have a bit of a soft spot for filthy progressive house -
