This is the 15 y.o. son of my cycling buddy. He's got a massive collection of hip-hop CDs, DVDs, books, posters.... amazing.
Definte talent there but Mrs GTI thinks it sounds like telephone hold music. What do you think?
To my uneducated ear, it sounds like a load of loops just stitched together. Did he 'create' that melody loop (vibes?) or is it an off the shelf loop?
Pleasant enough - sounds like lift music - and doesn't really get going.

He needs to work on a deeper and more rounded sound. It is all very tinny and can be much better with current (cheap) tech. Make it go somewhere too - but a good start.

Reminds me of the sounds my old Casio synthesiser used to make.
He still has more musical talent in his little finger than I do in my entire being though.
