6 packs of bloody prawn cocktail! Thats what! 😥

What were they thinking? In what world does the prawn cocktail crisp in any way fall into the same level of mid-afternoon desirability as the 3 classic flavours

If you were applying the same principle as Bradfords finest, then these....

would contain 3 packets of each, then 3 of Worcester sauce flavour

The world has gone mad

Your biggest snack multipack disappointment? What do you end up left with?

Now I enjoy a prawn cocktail crisp, without doubt. But those seabrook's prawn cocktail are just sugar flavour.

So weird.

The Prawn Cocktail are the premium flavour in that Seabrooks combo.

It's the salt only ones that'd be languishing forlornly in the bottom the torn and ravaged bag in our house.

I think Binners' reply might be.

Anyway. Who the hell voluntarily eats ready salted crisps?

When I was a child I used to mistakenly call them prawn AND cocktail.
True story...

I'd be happy if they were all prawn and cocktail personally..

Ready salted are good on crisp butties. With a cheese single or two, obvs

Oh... for the uninitiated, a selection of Tebay Growlers....

In all of the multi-packs posted, all of the Cheese and Onion would be left over! The old toes of the crisp world!

The Rolls Royce of Multipacks!!!

I just had a bag of Walkers Worcester Sauce. From a multipack. They were lovely.

And when I say multipack I actually mean 6 bags of Worcester sauce flavour! Nom.

It's like that in our house with boxes of Cadbury Hero's. By the time I get a snifter all that's left is fudge. FFS, Fudge is the equivalent to malted milk (plain) biscuits.

Who the hell voluntarily eats chemical coated reconstituted potato muck?

We need to get together to swap the left over bags, I don't get a sniff of the salt n vinegar here anymore (my fave) as the wife and kids polish off everything apart from the ready salted and prawn cocktail in no time.

I like prawn crisps, but it gets a bit samey after a while.

Malted milks are ace.
I also refer to these as cow* biscuits, or the long since forgotten sport* biscuits.

* Due to the images on them

We need a biscuit thread.... nowt wrong with malted milk.

Edit, as I was beaten to it.... chocolate malted milks are biscuit nirvana

Exactly - that and S&V 6 packs

(MrsPants buys only bags of cheese and onion when she does the shopping. Clearly I didn't know before I married her)

I think it's the same idea as putting paracetamol in blister packs instead of one big jar.

E.g. i could happily eat my own bodyweight in crisps if they came in a packet that big. I draw the line at opening a third bagthough regardless of size as it triggers some innate "stop man, what the hell are you doing"/"think of your arteries" response.

No!!! You've never had Pickled Onion Monster Munch?????
Whatever you are doing right now, drop it and get to the nearest shop and get a pack. Damn it, get 10 packs. Don't even pay. Just eat them right there in the aisle, one pack after another until security throw you out.

Of all the naughty things I have tried & grown fond of then quit forever, I cant do it with crisps. I try & try but the delicious wee buggers reel me in again & again.

Current fave

Get yrself to Lidl. [s]Worst-named[/s] best-flavoured multipack crisps I've ever tried. It's like being in 1982. Edit: except now they are branded/named 'Snacktastic'. You've got yr roast chicken, yr smoky bacon, and yr steak. Taste like Walkers used to.

Odd isn't it.

Forever more whenever I reach for a pack I'm going to see a 6yr old boy with his finger nuckle deep up his nose. They'll never taste the same again.
