Mrs Grips and I might want to edit the same document. It's stored on One Drive and we both have Office 365. One Drive sync is disabled on this PC though cos it's work.
I have made a test file and shared it with her. What's she going to see? She can of course edit it in a browser, but will it appear in her One Drive folder synced to her PC?
Will we be able to get concurrent editing like this? Where I add comments and edits etc and she can use the reviewing features to see what I've done?

IME working with Sharepoint and One Drive, I get sync issues about 15% of the time.
I hate it.
Although i had similar problems with Dropbox as well.
Wouldn't it have been quicker and easier to ask her?

So the file I created did appear in her one drive. She made changes and it synced to the master copy, but when I made changes (via the web editor) she is not seeing them...

Check for sync problems. Tell her to right click on the little icon and click repair.
Ah.. it seems that it doesn't actually need to sync to your local folder - word can work as a client directly to One Drive.
