You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
After scouring around for a van which has more than 3 seats, I've somewhat given up for loads of reasons, but it seems that I can get what I need done with an MPV with removable seats.
My mate has an ancient zafira which he manages to get a single mattress in! However the thing uses more oil than the British military has ever used since its discovery in one journey.
Has anyone already done the research and found the ultimate MPV hack? I was thinking Kia sedona!
Not sure but you'd probably get a better response in chat rather than bike forum.
PS: I have a Kia estate which is great on fuel.
We used to have a Ulysses and that was quite decent
Touran.
It's a car.
Usually diesel.
Often in a boring colour.
It handles like soup.
I am not sure I get the 'ultimate' and 'MPV' in the same statement....
(Biggest - Galaxy)
(Touran, ours was unreliable and costly, if comfy and utterly practical)

I thought that it would be inferred that it would purely be used for hauling bikes around?

Biggest is definitely what I was after.
Do the seats come out matt? Thinking of putting a camping bed on them.
They do - but not meant to. TBH, you wont gain much by removing them, as the underlying floor is not flat. We removed the rear set when we need more boot space on holiday.
Older Galaxy, Alhambra, Sharran.
Avoid the auto box like the plague.
Removeable seats.
Like a van, flat floor with them out.
If you can fight off the nations mini cab firms & find a diesel that's not gone round the moon, fab.
But, buy a petrol cheap (quite a few of them around), & probably cost you not much more.
But if you do find a diesel it's 90's VAG TDi technology, so good proven tech that's good for a few miles.
