So i've got a new phone and changed networks. Number transfer is happening today. I can currently call out using my new phone and the number comes up as my transferred number on the phone I call.

BUT, when I try to call my mobile from another phone, I get a number not available message. Is it usual for the tranfer to happen in two parts like this, or has something failed somewhere?

Yes I could call the customer services, but I thought I'd subject myself to ridicule from the STW masses before being kept on hold for the next 30 minutes.

I'm moving from O2 to Three, if that makes any difference.

Iirc it does happen in two stages. Probably take until tomorrow. You may also need to switch phone off and on?

Yeah - it took mine a while to move over completely and I was starting to get a bit panicky about it.
If it's not working by tomorrow, then I'd give them a call.

Thanks chaps, sounds like its normal. I'll give it until the morning to sort itself out.
