Help!
I need to do some OTA programming and have been given files to upload to our equipment using Silicon Labs EFR Connect. When I download the files to my phone they automatically go to the downloads folder & I can't then move them.
If I click on them I only get the option to move them to a "safe" folder. I need to move them to a sub folder in the App's file directory.
Can anyone help me please? Motorola Moto G7 & Android 10 BTW
Thanks
Plug it into a PC, do it via Explorer.
Failing that, there's a thousand File Explorer apps on the Store. I've got something called "File Manager +" installed, seems as good as any.
+1 for "File Manager +"
File manager + has not made any difference unfortunately.
It'll be a security feature, preventing another app from writing to an app specific directory. Do you have the option to tell the app to look elsewhere for it's files?
I have asked that question, my colleague who has an I phone has the same issue even though the instructions we have say if using an I phone the app will prompt you to select a file loaction once you start.
Thanks all.
Hook it up to your PC, install the Android drivers if necessary and do it that way?
