I think you are confusing Darreners and blackrunians with the Dingles and oswoldtwislers!
Work in Darwen and missus is a Darrener but live down the road in Astley Bridge. Up for a ride anytime,usually round Enty res area and Darwen moor.

Just across the River Ribble here in Grimsargh/Longridge area, can see Darwen Moor from my window though!
Another one in Grimsargh here.
Bogtrotters (Southern Chapter) have quite a strong presence in the area. Always a Wednesday night ride somewhere local.
