Among them, this one crops up at number 3, despite being just a few years old.

@jon - groups of people try and get these old stories onto the most read list for laugh. People then click on it and stays in the top list. The "small size" Indian condom story makes regular appearances.

EDIT: here you go, read this then get all your mates to click on it multiple times

Not sure why hes now on the offenders list - its a bike and he was in his own bedroom.

My own attempts at DIY have often resulted in me completely f***ing stuff.

I assume it was because he was deemed to have deliberately waited on the cleaners coming in to catch him, rather than having been accidentally caught. Essentially a case of indecent exposure, no?

All the 'real journalists' at News Online used to look quite irate in the news meeting when it was revealed that their dull but extremely worthy stories on elections in Burundi had received about 10 million fewer hits than our piece about penile acupuncture.

(We did do stories on vaccination programmes in urban Chile as well, safe in the knowledge that the only people reading them would be the people we quoted.)

All the 'real journalists' at News Online

Bit of classic tabloid style exaggeration there 😉

Is this "current" news, cos' I'd say it's back to the Jimmy Saville story as it's been on damn near repeat since I've been awake today.. 🙄

Of course. Our lack of due diligence was another reason they all sobbed their hatred and bitterness into their soy lattes. 🙂
