Apparently the town of [url= http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-39428314 ]Didcot[/url] is the closest to the average lifestyle, opinions and experiences in the UK.
Having been to Didcot, this explains a lot about the UK just now.
Well that's depressing.

Leicester definitely bats well above its average. Sport wise it's right up there, Leicester City and Riders winning the league. Tigers won the LV cup the other day.
It's also great for Indian Restaurants and, err.... Drum & Bass

**I'm from Leicester**
I think Leicester is well above average actually. It just doesn't shout about it, and has kind of been in the shadow of Nottingham for years.
It's Extremely multi cultural.
Has 2 universities with extremely good specialisms.
Some great sports teams. Tigers are still the most successful rugby union team in the country.
It has a castle and the first parliament was held there.
Oh nearly forgot the king Richard thing as well...
And yes it's a city as it has a cathedral.
And Red Leicester.
