Heading to Morzine in july 2013 and can't decide whether to take my bike or hire one. It's a family holiday and my 10 year old son will definitely be up for chucking himself down some trails. Any recommendations for a hire shop? I assume I can hire a kids bike too?

hired from the GT place in the summer - good service - happy to give the bike a look over/change pads/lube up as necessary. prices pretty reasonable too.

It's generally around 70 euros a day, so not especially cheap. You do get pads and puncture kit, though. People in our party have hired from a few different shops and they've all been OK. Just make sure they swap the brakes over to UK spec.

I paid €160 for 3.5 days for the GT - much cheaper than torico were charging for the nuke proof
