Looking to go out this year, never stayed in morzine itself so would anyone care to recommend a place to stay please?
Likely to be 4 adults and 4 14 year olds so a chalet would be ideal but a self catered apartment would probably be ok. Ideally near to the centre (say within 1000m) and a decent place. Thanks!
I have a friend who has an apartment on AirBnB in Morzine https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/630390975844735992?c=.pi80.pkYm9va2luZy92MV9taWdyYXRpb24vcmVzZXJ2YXRpb25fYWNjZXB0YW5jZV9jb25maXJtYXRpb25fZ3Vlc3Q%3D&euid=71213d8c-2ae4-b8dc-89ca-3e9d6fc6143c&_set_bev_on_new_domain=1673916603_ZmJiZDViOTY3ZjQx&source_impression_id=p3_1673916607_f464YNuydn66i5iH
Sleeps 9 in total at maximum. Just to the side of the bouncy bridge, so about 300m from the Super Morzine lift.
there's almost endless choices - you probably want somewhere that sleeps more than 8 (the beds can be crammed in, as is the way in ski resorts). Bike storage can be an issue and hard to figure out on airbnb, last time I just emailed the folks at https://www.morzine-immo.com/ who gave me a list of options that included garages
thanks for the replies everyone, we've now booked one of the alptitude chalets for the week which looked good.
Next question is transfers sorry.
I've used skiddy Gonzales in the past for a couple of us on a trip but as there's going to be 10/11 of us, at €100 each return it seems a little pricy to pay €1,000 for a return taxi! anyone know if there is a better way of doing the transfer for a big group?
thanks.
Skiidy do group transfers for much less than you've quoted.
