Evening all

Was going to do a week in Scotland in the campervan this summer, but due to my mam passing away recently I thought, I'm not getting any younger and hooning down Morzines finest and some off piste exploration is a fine way to pass the time and reflect whilst looking at trees and mountains etc.

So looking for recommendations for 2 people, we'll be driving over will need bike storage preferably a chalet /self catering type of thing.

Did do some searching but a lot of the links were dead. Thanks in advance DB

3 of us stayed with Rider’s Refuge last July. Picked up from Geneva airport. Staff were great, food was good and plentiful but the place with a bit tired and the bike ‘facilities’ were pretty non-existent TBH. Security left a lot to be desired. Having said all that it was not expensive. MTB Beds 5 years ago was a much better set up for bikers though IMHO.

Depends on your budget.  I have used ElevationAlps.com a few times and they have large 10+ chalets as well as smaller suitable for 4 and all quite plush and very secure.  Have also used Skimorzine.com, these are far cheaper, still secure but not quite as plush and they have catered and non catered (or did when I last used them)

We have stayed here,

Aiglon Morzine | Morzine Accommodation | Self-Catering Apartments

It was very nice, a good location and they have a bike store, albeit communal for the entire block.

EDITR, link didn't work...

Another Vote for Riders Refuge. They do self catering too.

I'm not sure which links are dead but we've had loads of accommodation in Morzine / les Gets over the years through AirBNB, or just googling Morzine Apartments. Loads of independents but good place to start is the morzine.com site.

Generally lots of choice in summer as there are more beds than visitors (winter is when it runs at full capacity)

Also, contact the tourist offices in Les Gets and separately, Morzine. They've been great for us?

Have you tried looking on Google Maps?

Riders Refuge every time for me. Take your own locks and chains etc. That goes for everywhere in Morzine.

We stayed with Riders Refuge for the first time last year and have booked again this year. From getting off the plane in Geneva to when we left we didn't have to think about anything other than riding bikes it was all taken care of.

Have used Pure Morzine for the last 5 years and they have always been great. Good locations and the particular chalet we use has very good bike storage.
