Anybody using Morvelo clothing?

Specifically, the Overland range, I'm interested in the Selector Mens Overland Shorts.

Thanks

The kit I have used has been excellent ..( not the range you are looking at ) ..padded undershorts are the comfiest I've worn and the tops are quality although I ruined one by washing it with other kit that had Velcro on it causing it to bobble quite badly ..
9/10 from my experience ..

I only ever buy it in sales. Bobbles quite badly on Velcro and snags on brambles but then most stuff does.

I’ve several bibs and jerseys, concur it’s a bit fragile for off-road. Nice stuff though and good designs.

I bought an overland shirt which is quite clever with good pockets and looks more casual than a cycle top with pockets.

Also picked up the not baggy baggy short in the overland range. They’re good. I use them over bibs or with pearl izumi liner and I just don’t think about the shorts which is a good sign.

I like the design and comfort of the kit. However, it’s the only kit I’ve ever had where the stitching comes undone on both tops and bibshorts.

I've got the Selector shorts (and lots of other Morvelo kit). They are really lovely. Close fitting, and very lightweight. I'm not sure how they'd fare in a crash being so lightweight.

I’ve got tonnes of their stuff, and before they went direct only I used to sell lots of it in my shop.

Highly rated IMO, especially their padded bib shorts which are probably the most comfy I’ve used and they’ve seen me through many century road rides over the years.

I've got quite a few bits of theirs, the tee shirt technical tops are great for a casual look, and the rain jacket I bought from them is one of the best I've had .

Like their stuff a lot, lasts well, fits well, designs are not the same old boring blue/black-with-white-stripe-on-sleeve. Not had any stitching come undone. The bibs are pretty good but not as good as castelli at the same price IMO (or others at a higher price, but that is not a fair comparison).

If they are listening: Please do some long sleeved MTB jerseys in the 'thermoactive' fabric

OK.

Thanks chaps.

Thats encouraging - the positive responses.

Going to get an order together for a few bits.

Edit.
Out of stock of the shorts in the size that I want, but they replied very quickly to my e mail advising that stock was imminent.(The quick reply is a good start).

its all a bit too emblazoned for me. cant comment on lycra bandit apperel...

i do like their casual stuff tho. tech tee's very comfy.

always wait for sales! seem to knock stuff out and good discounts quite often.

i have some great mtb shorts (in a horrendous colour) that were cheap as too!

Got the shorts. Thought they were flimsy and wouldn’t last long. Worn them to death for about 8 months look and feel fine still.

Like their older orange inserted shorts but stopped buying when they changed insert to the red version.

I have a few bits and bobs from them, like their stuff

I have two sets of arm warmers from them, thicker ones and thin ones. I have long arms that are average size in width, their ones fit me great (though will probably be too long for a short person!)
