I still love the music of Black, he managed to bring a touch of melancholy to the charts when I was growing up.

I'll leave you with this
Wonderful Life has just played on the radio, memories of happy days ...
Crap.
RIP
Been listening to 80's stuff and wonderful life was up there.
Life is too short.
He was due to be ome a grandad soon, sad day. A reminder fo us all to be careful on the roads
More sad news, RIP Colin
Christ, that had me worried. Was hoping to blag a free nights accommodation next time up biking in the highlands.
"Wonderful Life" is one of my favourite tunes ever and carries with it some truly special memories. Sad day indeed.
Sad news had just added it to my melancholy 1980's (Mainly Liverpool based) spotify playlist and listened to it a couple of times over the weekend.
Made my teenage kids listen to it as well (they think music was invented 2yrs ago )
One of the first live gigs i went to back in the 80's, Manchester Apollo. Such a shame.
I love that song, so peaceful. RIP Colin.
I only know him from a couple of songs. I never realised he'd turned out 15 albums.
