NO! JUST NO!

Little Miss CFH loves the Clangers. The PROPER version. I do too. Lovely television.

Now, if they ever even think of trying to remake Ivor or Bagpuss.....

I thought for a moment this was going to be about the Blue Thunder re-boot.

a) that actually looks ace, they've done as good a job as I could have hoped for,

b) when exactly did the moon gain its own moon?

c) is that Stephen Moore (Adrian Mole's dad) narrating?

I loved Blue Thunder, used to drive at night (on the deserted lanes of somerset) and turn my lights off for my own whisper mode. RIP Roy Schneider, legend of the air and sea

The Clangers rock.

^ That doesn't look too bad but probably very PC which would be a shame.

My brother and I built a go cart (early 80's, proper bash street kids pram-wheels/bailer twine/pallet wood construction).

It was called "Pink Lightning"

Well, duh.

I suspect that name has since been trademarked for a more specialist product.

The clangers don't live on the moon but on a small hollow planet far away!

Can't see the clip in the office 🙁

Do they still have the Soup Dragon? Always thought the Soup Dragon and the metal chickens were the best bits 😀

TBH I thought this might have been about the new Thunderbirds that ITV are plugging at the moment.

Never liked the Clangors.

Somewhere we have the complete Ivor the Engine on vhs. Nothing to watch it on, mind

if you really think about it, the original Clangers was a bit pants.
it's certainly no Chuggington or Q Pootle 5.

C'mon, Q Pootle is ok. Chuggington, however, stinks. All those trains and very rarely do they actually carry a passenger. Dr Beeching would have them all scrapped.

yeah, but Action Chugger though. A super-hero train and an aspirational figure for all those train-ees out there! He's helpful AND strong AND he gets the job done. He's number one.

That looked fine to me.

Yeah. I used to love the regular racist sexist homophobic rants on the Clangers.
