😆 What utter tw@s.

They had a poster truck driving around the City the other day. I was most pelased to see that almost every single person who saw it gave it the reaction it deserved......A hand gesture derived from Agincourt....!

Good.
A friend of ours' sister was married to a bloke who became the local BNP councillor. Needless to say it became apparent that he was a complete ****t and she left him. Her sister came across a political poster up in the local leisure centre with his phot on it. After a quick look round she got a pen out and scrawled 'W@nker' across his face.

I thought the Agincourt origination of the V sign was debunked on QI?

I like teasing all the "send them back home" brigade and ask if they think only the English should be here. When they say "yes", they don't like being told that Anglo Saxons are immigrant invaders! I suppose the British National Party should be calling for all Anglo Saxons, Nordics etc that have come here over the years to go as well.

I think the next series of Who do you think you are? should pick the leaders of the BNP. Be interesting to see how many have a chequered family tree. When slavery was abolished here, how many ex slaves were kindly repatriated by their previous "owners"?

I'm happy to believe that they are a very distilled, single malt style of cask-aged idiot, but I'm not sure that the error of using an iconic image of a quintessentially Little Englander vintage fighter plane possibly being flown by a Pole on their feeble Enoch Was Right bobbins is the most compelling proof of their gormlessness that we have... 😉

It never ceases to amaze me how they are always so keen to mention the war. As in my experience, they always appear to be gutted that the other side lost 😯

No, no, no. British national socialism would be altogether better than imported, foreign national socialism.

To be fair BD, I did hear in pre-BNP days, NF members denounce Hitler as a "traitor to the revolution".

Although I'm fairly confident that this criticism was solely based on the fact that he lost the war.

I loved the grafitti I saw in B'ham.

Some idiot had sprayed BNP on a wall in Digbeth.

The next day someone else had added some letters vertically under it so it read: Bald No Penis

Showed my Polish GF this article and she found it very amusing!

It's her opinion that in this country, we are quite lucky with the BNP that we do have. The other option being a [collective noun?] of politically astute fascists with an eye for detail and historical accuracy.

Instead we have Nick Griffin. Son of Peter, no doubt.

😆

She is a real Polish history buff.

Must say though, as low as opinion of the far right is, she reserves her real bile & venom for the far left.

Just glad I'm not Russian, really!

According to the BNP website, the Spitfire from a Polish fighter squadron was used on purpose - yeah right 🙄

Quote :

“We have deliberately used a Spitfire from the RAF No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron as our backdrop in the ‘Battle of Britain’ road show for the European elections,” Mr Griffin said.

Only their road show isn't called the "Battle OF Britain" - which refers to one battle during WW2.
It's called the "Battle FOR Britain".

[img] [/img]

It's a measure of just how embarrassed they are of their fukkup that they come out with all this totally unbelievable bollox.

BNP Loves Europe, Hates the EU, Says Nick Griffin in Tribute to Polish Spitfire Pilots

Sure the BNP loves Europe. Only they would be a lot happier if it was now called the Third Reich.

Still, it's good to know that Nick Griffin is now being nice to the Poles - previously he called them liars claiming that the Germans had never built concentration camps in Poland.

Nick Griffin 1998 quote :

"I am well aware that the orthodox opinion is that 6 million Jews were gassed and cremated and turned into lampshades. Orthodox opinion also once held that the Earth was flat... I have reached the conclusion that the "extermination" tale is a mixture of Allied wartime propaganda, extremely profitable lie, and latter witch-hysteria."

Not sure where he got the "Allied wartime propaganda" from - I thought the truth only came out after the war ?

At least they're consistent- using the wrong Spitfire & in that 1998 quote, the "opinion that the Earth was flat" is only a recent invention. Pretty sure the Greeks & Chinese knew the earth was round.

As long as I was missing a possibly apocryphal story about a couple of lampshades rather than the scandal of the systematic conversion of millions of european Jews into household accessories I am happy to carry on regarding Griffin as a twit. 😉

Weren't there a few members of the old forum who confessed to voting BNP?

Can't remember who they were though.

I don't know about the lampshades but I did read that the u boat crews had socks made from human hair. Obviously they could have collected that from the barbers but I don't think did it that way.

Bit of a rambling story this, so bear with me.

A good few years ago, when my girlfriend and I were at uni, she worked in the local pub in her village in the holidays. Anyway, one weekend I'd gone over to see her and we were due to go out with some of her friends but she wasn't able to swap her shift. Anyway we decided that we'd all go to the pub and we could still see/chat to her as she worked, no issues. So, I'm sat there chatting to one of her friends and her fiance. We'd done the usual football, music and wotnot and got on to the issue of the Millenium Dome, how expensive it was etc etc. I said that it seemed like a waste of money to spend £1Billion on something that was only going to be used for a year. His reply?

"Yeah, they could have built a bridge back to Africa"

I was gobsmacked. He was absolutely serious too.

Not sure I get that. What did he mean?

He meant a bridge that all the darkies could use to go home. And, as I said, he was serious.

can you thank her for what her countrymen did

In the closing stages of WWII - and despite their outstanding & brave service (not least at Monte Cassino) - we pretty much turned our back on the Poles... 🙁

Back on topic: the BNP - the more they spout their pseudo-folk ancestry shite, the more I give thanks for my mongrel Heinz 57 genetic make-up. The ****ing dozy tawts.

Trouble is molgrips, if he'd said "with that money they could have bought all the darkies a plane ticket home" someone would have told him off.

......we pretty much turned our back on the Poles.....

I guess you are alluding to the decisions following the Yalta Conference? The conference at which Churchill stated, "we could never be content with any solution that did not leave Poland a free and independent state". (Stalin pledged to permit free elections in Poland, but eventually never honored his promise.)

Unfortunately the premise that the UK 'let down' Poland at Yalta fails to take into account that the writing was already on the wall with respect to the power of the UK on the international stage. WW2 took a lot more than lives and money from the UK and the British Empire as a whole. The fact that for a not insignificant time the UK alone stood against the forces of Nazi Germany hugely damaged the economy and later pleas of economic then eventually military assistance in fighting this global problem carried with them huge political and financial penalties, mainly imposed by the US as a way to 'get one over' the British.

At Yalta, although the British were represented by one of the most charismatic leaders this country has ever had, the lack of power he wielded in face of the political and financial penalties imposed by the US meant that there were only really two parties making the majority of decisions (US and USSR) with the UK only really having a voice on matters where it agreed with the US.

On the direct matter on Poland, the US was mainly concerned with appeasing the USSR in the short term and attempting to stop the spread of Communism and as such they were happy to allow the USSR to consolidate itself amongst the states of Eastern Europe, believing the spread of Communism would halt there. As the US had no interest in Poland the UK had no support on the matter.

Ilse Koch was accused of having inmates exterminated to make lampshades from their tattooed skin. It was never proven, but they definitely cut human tattoos from the victims at Buchenwald:
