You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I'm fortunately in a position where I'm going to be working remotely from Morzine for the rest of the summer season so need some travel insurance to cover the trip.
Yellow Jersey covers a maximum of 60 days at a time, but there's a possibility I'll extend slightly beyond this (currently have a one way booking)
Also looking for a policy that would include the bikes rather than needing seperate bike insurance. The likes of Insure and Go include valuable items but limit cover at £1000.
Sportscoverdirect seem to offer the cover I need but are far too expensive (£450 pa with £90 + 10% excess to claim for equipment)
Anyone found a good solution?
Given our disappointing experience with yellow jersey with an annual policy taken out before CV-19, I'd either avoid, of check the terms and conditions very very VERY carefully.
If you have home insurance, give them a ring and explain your situation. They might cover your gear for an additional fee

They might also note that you're house is going to be unoccupied for a long period of time and cancel the cover. Need to be careful with that one.
OP, the trouble you've got is the most policies are really "holiday" insurance (ie short periods of time, anything goes seriously wrong they'll dump you in the UK to avoid running up massive costs, longer trips are generally backpacking so dont need that much equipment cover, etc). Your situation is a bit different, and I don't have a solution unfortunately
