My Lapierre spicy seems to have a disease! Over the years moisture has got under the lacquer and it looks pretty crap. Frame is aluminium so it’s probably just cosmetic..

Any ideas how to clean this up? Or will frame need completely stripped and re-lacquered..

That looks like filiform corrosion. Probably resulting from moisture, and it is possible to control it with a different type of lacquer...what do Lapierre say?

Not contact them yet. I doubt they’ll help given age of frame.
