I have just swapped sim on vodaphone so I can use a new phone that only takes nano sim's.
However, Whilst I can use the new phone and SIM for data e.g. email / whatsapp - voice won't work telling me mobile network is not available.
Any one got ideas how to fix. The muppets in Vodafone don't have a clue
Phone is Xperia Z3 compact btw.

3G vs 4G ? E.g the SIM wants to receive 4G but you're in a 3G area?
Happened to me a year or two ago, I was getting lots of missed calls but never heard it ring. Switching to 3G on the phone settings fixed it
Data only SIM?
I will try the switch to 3G and see what happens. Got a new sim though same issue with that sim. I put it in a different phone and it worked so it's something with the phone, but can't tell if it's a configure issue or a fault with the phone
