If I take a cheap Vodafone PAYG phone to Goa will it need to be unlocked to use over there? (Vodafone is very prominent in Goa!)
Took a spare phone last year, but it was on O2 & due to a death in the family over here I had to get it unlocked to phone back home for much cheapness, like 10 Rupees a minute or something.
Thanks!

It might be quite difficult to get a SIM card in India compared with last year, I was talking to someone who was trying to get one a couple of weeks ago and they gave up in the end, although this was in Kerala and not Goa. Would be worth contacting your hotel to see if they can help, it will save time and hassle.
