is it possible?
A friend at work is recently separated and their ex is quoting tex messages back to them, mainly about them putting them down and only telling one side of the story.
They have changed their number and now use an android phone but still getting tex messages alll word for word repeated
O2 have suggested going to the police but this is not something they want to do as it will upset the kids.
so is it possible, how would it have happened and how can they stop it?
its not for me, my wife is a nosey ****er and reads my tex and email and we’re still married. Or me looking for tips on how to hack the wife’s messages 😃
More likely they're being passed on by a 3rd party stirring it?
Hard to say if it's a new number and a new phone.
Does the ex have access to thier Gmail or some sort of cloud backup, and reading the texts from there?
Are we talking text or email content?
Quite difficult to intercept texts? Email is easy. New phone and number means it's unlikely that texts are being intercepted.
Suggest the text recipient's are passing them on...
text or applemessage.or hangouts stuff? Check for linked devices, old phones on still logged in etc.
This has only been text messages
What kind of phone do they have?
texts are hard to do I've been told. as others have typed it's most likely someone gossiping.
check for telegram and other apps being logged on a different device. I know 2 people who have been sacked for handing old work phones with telegram still logged on the old phones and posting some silly stuff on new work phones thinking only the sender and recipient would see it.
My old boss used to tell us to not type anything into email, text or app that we did not mind being read out in court....
seriously though a similar thing happened to my sister with emails and texts... I think the solution at the end was to not send them or to use a non smartphone.. everyone will be back to blackberry devices soon...
my Co workers still think telegram is safe as it has end to end protection what they don't grasp is they are typing on a work device that has some very good in built software and it could* capture anything going into or out for all we know so it's best not to use it for anything other than work
My texts get forwarded to my Outlook account. Could he have compromised them this way?
What kind of phone do they have?
