Ok so I am planning on installing a mobile banking app on my phone and was wondering if I am in reality going to need a better phone. Currently it's a sub 100 quid android, for all intents and purposes it is perfectly fine but am I gong to be able to bank on it safely?
I cant seem to find any operating requirements, maybe I am overthinking it though!

Need i be concerned?

any advice appreciated!

its always worked for me.

but i've gone to a non smart phone and its proving difficult to persuade RBS to get rid of the inn app approval for large payment. pain in the hoop

How do you loging - 2nd factor authentification? I'd think if that's setup then you'd be ok

The app will have a minimum requirement for OS and security, for instance mine needs at least android 5/iOS 11, and course a pin etc set.

If you can install it, then there's no reason not to use it.

Fine on my cheap and cheerful Moto G Whatever.

The banking app is likely to be more shit than your phone.
