leaky mixer tap woes.
I have undone three little allen screws.
one for the main spout & one each on the levers.
But for the life of me I can not see how to get any further.
The taps still rotate but pulling on them when in any position produces no joy.
Not sure about picture linking but here goes.

Thanks for any help.
Try turning the wide collar on the handle, sometimes they are threaded. I got that far, one handle came off but the other was siezed solid and broke the cartridge spindle, I ended up just putting a new tap in.
more googling & a stroke of luck.
I now know it is a Franke Olympus.
This video implies they should just pop off -
Off to the garage now for a bit of bike lube !
Just been through the exact same. The handles are splined internally and should just slide onto a splined brass projection on the cartridge. But they can be very tight, in my case because a leak had allowed limescale to build up on it. I snapped one of the brass nubs off trying to get it out. I removed it with an EZ out.
Yes the handle is just on a brass spline on the cartridge. One side came off with a bit of tapping with a mallet and wooden drift, the other will be in place for all eternity, Good luck with yours.
Progress - well that is debatable
rubber nozed hammer it was.
got the hot off.
the cold is a little sad for wear.
Will try & get the brass noze out but think it might be a struggle.
Off to google - can I buy a new Franke lever !
fixed !!!!
