Any recommendations for a mini tool kit, something to cover small jobs at the caravan and do for minor bike jobs.
Had a look at Wera but also found a Dewalt one on amazon that looks like it's got enough for my needs.
Wera tool check plus looks good but only one flat screwdriver bit.
Dont need pliers, snips etc just something small and all in one case.
We have one of these in the camper, does most of the things we require

Looks good but would possible prefer a screwdriver & ratchet but possibly being too picky.
Halfords seem to permanently have offers on?
Personally I'd probably build up the basics myself. Good ratchet screwdribers with enough bits (philips, flat, torx, hex), knipex plier wrench (will cover most spanner use), normal set of pliers, maybe a smaller needle nose set too
I keep those bits in my kitchen drawer and find that covers the majority of quick fixes (from household to kids toys). Full range of tools in my garage if needed
Plus a torch obviously!
Just looked at that Stanley set, good value isn't it? (although pinned torx and pozidrive seems less immediately useful)
Yeh Stanley set looks good I want an all in one set, don't need pliers, snips, etc. I've got tools in the garage, not much use when we're at the caravan though
Sounds to me like you want to buy the tools you need and a small toolbox.
If you link to the ones you like it might give us a clue as to what you're looking for rather than rely on telepathy.
Yeh. Buy a small kit that covers most, and a tool box. Chuck said tools in it and buy more tools to cover what's missing. Or on an as needed basis.
The problem with pre built tool kits is that they will lack some you need and include some you'll never want.
I've got two tool boxes, well 3 including my trolley jack box and suspension spring clamps, and I think they are approaching maturity, with pretty much everything I need or can do. Car stuff bike stuff, electrical stuff.
A tool kit isn't a one off purchase, it matures over time. It's a bit like a living growing creature.
I've not had a tool kit off the shelf that I thought all the tools were good in. Although I've never bought or been given a really expensive one
Would definitely much rather have a few useful specific tools (see my advice above) than something generic
Despite LOADS of tools in the garage, I've been constantly surprised by how many things I've covered with the small selection I have in the kitchen drawer!
Actually, I also have a tape measure and a flat normal screwdriver (great for levering)
Yeh agreed, my tool kit was based on a Halfords general mechanical one years ago, basically socket set, screwdriver set and spanner set. I've since built on that a lot, and replaced the socket wrench with something more sturdy, some specialised sockets and adapters and extenders, decent Allen key set, blah blah
My bike tools consists of bike specific tools and duplicates I've got in cheaper tool sets.

I've got tools at home, this is a 'mini tool kit' for a specific purpose as described in my op, which Tracey fully grasped but Cougar clearly struggled with.
Something like this for example

That was kinda my point. Also, a kit will either be expensive or made of cheese.
I picked up this set on offer for £25 last year - it has been brilliant

The box is nice and compact too, so handy for carrying around.
Edit: This is supplemented with a Makita bit set, a small nylon/rubber hammer, and only a few bike specific tools - all bases have been covered so far!
Always worth looking into your nearest Aldi/Lidl and checking out what tools and sets of tools they have, they often have pretty comprehensive little sets with lots of different driver bits, pliers, etc, for not much money, ideal to keep one or two kicking around for emergency repairs.
Not missed the screwdriver on ours, the ratchet just fits nice in the palm of the hand for that bit extra leverage. It stays in the camper all the time. Specific bike tools are kept in a builder's bag in the garage and moved into the garage in the camper if we are going away for a while. As above Aldi had a bit bigger one in store a couple of weeks ago that had a screwdriver handle

+1
I have a couple of Aldi sets. A driver handle set with LOADS of bits, the usual plus all the obscure and security pinned stuff, this lives is the house. A 1/4 drive socket and bit set with driver handle lives in the van. The quality isn't bad, especially for the price paid, fine for odd jobs.
The Halfords 1/4 drive set linked above lives on my work bench next to main toolbox and gets a lot of use, the most use after the p-handles hex keys.
Bought the one in Tracey's link and it arrived yesterday. When I bought it I didn't look at any dimensions so was surprised at how tiny it is.
It's perfect for my needs so thanks Tracey.
Glad you like it

Had one of these a couple of years now. All who've seen it action were very impressed. Very handy and ties in well with a small cordless.
Oops just realised a bit too late
Cheers wrightyson. I did look at that Bosch set but the stanley set had more bit and it only cost a couple of quid more.
