As the title really, does anyone have any experience with the different packages available.

The Mindjet software looks good, but cost-wise is significantly more expensive than other options such as the 'Buzan' stuff.

Free mind is good and i've used it a lot - just learn the keyboard short cuts.

The free mode of MindNode is pretty good.

I used Freemind, but I don't like it. I usually resort to post-its and a whiteboard.

freemind as others have said, or XMind. both free. 🙂
