Absolutely exquisite sensation!
Got midged at the deer range at Clatteringshaws a couple of days ago - all exposed skin protected but forgot my hair.
Spent yesterday at Kirroughtree with a helmet rubbing on the bites. Thinking of getting some mittens today to stop me scratching my head to pieces!
oooh, that's making my head tingle just thinking about it!! 😀
they've been bad this year, need to slather myself in jungle just to wash the bike down, and I'm in West Yorkshire!!

I got eaten alive at the top of the Granites on Sunday. Itchiest bites I've ever had.

Ticks get everywhere.
I have had them on arms, legs, bellly, armpit, top of pubes...They go for warm and moist.
A couple of male colleagues have pulled them out of groin/pubic, one female colleague out of 'adjacent to' area...
I detest the things.
Midge bites in your hair....
