Myself and the wife normally head for some sun mid December, but this year she couldn't get the time off, so we booked a few weeks off mid November thinking it would be the roughly the same non peak holiday time and its working out over £500 more than December , anyone know why its more ? , its not the usual holiday times ?
Bit baffled
Is your planned destination anywhere that Ryanair and Monarch would usually fly to?
My sister lives in Portugal and comes home fairly often. Flights are currently £800-£900 instead of the usual £70-£80.
Where are you heading? Holiday time over there?
Have been looking at the canaries ,Egypt and Malta, all are a lot less if we go mid December !
spose some of it could be the monarch collapse which has limited flights etc
