I've had Asian Dub Foundation's "Buzzin'" on repeat today, not loving the other stuff of theirs I've found so far.

Wreckermendations thabkyoupleaze?

^ That’s more guitar pop to be fair. With a light dnb vibe to the drum track.

I like Optiv, BTK, Roni Size/Reprazent, also Naibu for some more chilled?

I know nothing about drum and bass but I often have the Hospital Records YouTube channel bathing the living room in a soft pink glow.

I do prefer nasty, hard stuff but not sure what to look for.

Get yourself a copy of Goldie's "Timeless" and work forwards...

Some other studio production albums you should check out if not add to your collection...

Roni Size & Reprazent - New Forms
Adam F - Colours
Chase & Status - More than a lot
LTJ Bukem - Logical Progression
Shy FX & T Power - Set it off

Other artists that just consistently knock it out of the park...

High Contrast
London Elektricity
Logistics
Andy C
DJ Hype
Sub Focus

Don't have access to my iTunes library right now, so guarantee I'm missing a few obvious ones. I should also caveat this with the fact I was a late starter around 2001 getting into D&B, and haven't actively bought any albums or been out clubbing since about 2011... So my finger won't be as on the pulse as many.

Knowing how much I love this album my lad got me a copy on vinyl for Christmas. He went the extra mile when he realised the record release didn't have Inner City Life / Jah...so he tracked me down the 12" of that as well.

What a kid.

Can't go wrong with a London Grammar/Calibre remix:

For true mid life crisis effect you will be needing a massively lowered hot hatch with a 12" sub woofer in the boot.

Check out Zinc's minimix from Annie Mac's show.

It may only be 5 mins long but it gets a lot of belters in

Really worth listening to Hospital Records and V- Recordings podcasts for latest tracks, few recent favourites:

Well, I came here to post the DNB by bike link, but that's been done already.

Check some of this out, TC essential mix

And on the darker side.. RIP The End
