Is there a voltage or ampage thing I need to look for?

It says 240V 15A - doesn't look anything special to me.

As above. Some makes of machine also seem to let you order spare parts online but the postage may be painful

The part no: is D45U-V3AA if that helps?

Any domestic appliance repair place will have them, which is probably your best bet on a Saturday

Looks like 15A, 125-250V

Like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mikroschalter-Cherry-D45X-fur-Jura-AEG-Krups-NEU-/130461497248?pt=DE_Haushaltsger%C3%A4te_Kaffeemaschinenzubeh%C3%B6r&hash=item1e601c77a0

Does it have a connector so needs the long terminals or just spade connectors on wires?

You should be able to pick one up for a few £ from a repair place or RS/Rapid etc.

First one looks like a winner if your dishwasher has moulded plugs. £12.99 is a bit ouch though for a microswitch.
