So, in a nutshell, I own a copy of Microsoft office that I've lost......I've got it installed on my old laptop, but could do with it on my new one. Ican download the programme again online, but obviously need a product key. Is there anyway of finding out what my product key is via the office software installed on my old laptop? As you may have guessed, I'm not overly tech savvy!
Cheers!

Office 2010 or older only requires the key which you can find using the above link.
2013 uses a 'one use' key which as the name suggests you can only use once, but will remain on your MS account for forever more you just need to log-in at www.office.com and download it.
I should add that unless you bought a very specific, and expensive office you're not allowed to move it from PC to PC, but not much can stop you, if you want to.
