I've created an MS Form (in Excel Online) which I'd like any number of line managers to be able to use to get responses from their staff.
I don't want the data gathered to be accessible to anyone other than that line manager. Currently I can only see all my test responses going to one spreadsheet.
Is it possible for only that manager's team responses to show on a spreadsheet that only he/she can access?
Thanks
Are you using O365 Forms App https://forms.office.com, if so I don't believe it will do that by default.
I'd share the form as a template to each line manager and have them then send the link for the form to their staff as the quickest route to achieve individual answers and the manager control the answers (this assumes you are using O365 and each line manager has license with Forms rights!)
If you are into Power Automate you could assuming the form has the line manager selectable be able to update a different spreadsheet or sharepoint list with the data for each line manager probably use a switch based on the line manager then a different action for each line manager to update a spreadsheet or sharepoint list.
Yeah, agree with forge. Either create a template, and reuse that for every team - creating an individual form per team.
Or... create a single form, and set a radio-button question of 'which team do you belong in'. You can then filter and dump the answers into different sheets.
Either way, you need to do a little more work 😉
