I tried to replace the battery on my Garmin Edge 800 and managed to rip off the battery connector from the PCB. 😯

[i]White bit with the 3 wires is what I'm talking about.

The solderings is tiny, I can solder small things, but this is a whole different level.

Does anyone know where I can get this done?
Garmin said it would be about £150-£200 to fix. 😯

There are several techniques for soldering smd components. You could try looking up drag soldering. You would need a decent iorn a flux pen and some 60 40 solder.

If you want to email me, I'll fix it as long as you cover the postage costs.
