Couldn't possibly be a miracle recovery could it? fingers crossed though
He may come out of the coma, but (apparently) a return to anything like full health is highly unlikely after such a long period in it.
Anyone see Louis Theroux at the weekend? One of the patients in that had been in a persistent vegetative state for months, the hospital were fairly clearly working towards persuading the family that there was nothing more to be done - but blow me if he didn't start showing signs of awareness, and by the end of the program he was concious and ambulatory, and more or less back to normal. He's beat long, long odds for that, but it just goes to show, sometimes miracles DO happen.
Probably don't need two threads discussing the same thing.

Cheers.
Fingers crossed.
