It's all about Steel, it's real you know.

But seriously Slayer are an awesome metal band and Cult is just about the angriest song ever.

Threads have to be metal, I find I'm too ham-fisted for plastic threads.

^ boltthrower. Not heard of them since I accidentally taped a session off John Peel. What a load of old shite. Same for GD & Napalm Jeff.

a bit of dirty old industrial/metal

Pitchshifter- deconstruction

Godflesh- streetcleaner

and a bit of blackmetal: Darkthrone doing a cover of the banshees "love in a void" 😆

Not sure exactly what I listen to could be classed as metal, quite a broad range though:

[url=

Factory - Demanufacture

[url=

Head - Davidian

Slapshock - Carino Brutal

Dethklok - Hatredy

Mnemic - Deathbox

Meshuggah - Bleed

Otep - Battle Ready

Pain - Im Going In

Thats the kind of stuff floating around in my iTunes library. Also other stuff by the likes of Marilyn Manson, 36 Crazyfists and Killswitch Engage. I class it all as metal, but then Im not one for genre arguing anyway...if its harder than rock stuff, doesnt have some 15 year old screaming while wearing his sisters jeans* then its metal in my book 😆

*then again I dont mind a little screamo/emo now and then

Rainbow's Rising and Onstage are the two finest albums ever made

Sabbath's Heaven and Hell isn't far behind though.

I'm one of the minority of old [url=

Wizard fans who loved Witchcult Today.
First four [url=

albums are frigging awesome.
Japanese band Boris are great as are Spanish band Orthodox.
Do High on Fire count as metal? Like them. Sendelica and the Heads too.
Om can do wrong by me either.

Generals gathered in their masses,
just like witches at black masses.
Evil minds that plot destruction,
sorcerers of death's construction.
In the fields the bodies burning,
as the war machine keeps turning.
Death and hatred to mankind,
poisoning their brainwashed minds.
Oh lord, yeah!

[I've been drinking]

I have Bruce Dickinsons autograph from when he was in Samson, pre. Iron Maiden (it's on the bottom of a Samson group picture, all the other band members have signed it aswell). Will it be worth anything?.

In the spirit of the OP, is it just me that thinks Iron Maiden: Iron Maiden is one of the most underrated albums ever?

Seventh Son was their finest moment though.

I love darkthrone and have all their albums. But for some old school metal try:

[url=

The Gates or [url=

alternatively Anaal Nathrakh

As for Bolthrower the IVth Crusade is the best album especially the track 'Spearhead'

Saw them at Bloodstock last year, then at hammerfest and Sonisphere this year.
New album just out: Coat of Arms.

Good call on the Tarot, i was hoping that Bloodstock would book them for their first UK date at some point, folk have been calling for them for the last couple of years.

Have you hear Marcos work with Delain on their last couple of Albums? like

Absolutely!

They've got a very wide variety, but [url=
