Yup, that is the problem, I can't get to my profile page. It appears to be an intermittent issue as it just worked when I went to the classified section but then stopped working when I cam back to the forum section. Will report it
Some of the buttons in the banner don't seem to be working from thread pages, but work from the forum overview. I've already fed that back via the form in tommathy's sticky thread.
The profile icon link doesn't work when in a thread, but yeah just go to your own profile and it'll be there, from the forum thread page works.
Or click on your name on one of your posts and that'll take you to your profile.
Same on desktop/mobile, desktop says 'messages' alongside the envelope icon.

I was just going to post the same @ta11pau1 narrowed it down to not working when in a thread. Although I did think we used to get a notification icon if we were messaged and I see that @desperatebicycle has messaged as I got the email notification but nothing to highlight it outside of the profile page. Maybe it was always like this and I am seeing a problem with the new site that was always there.
