I've had a Tenda nova mw 3 setup for the last 12 months , mainly to get Wi-Fi into the garage for Zwift etc , while its worked in a fashion getting WIFI around the house , I've never managed to get a printer to work while the mesh is plugged in , I can print when its knocked off etc
the mesh system has same network SSID and password as the plusnet router as recommended but still not playing nicely ?
I've even dropped all firewalls incase that's stopping it but didn't make a difference
any ideas or advise from techy peeps would be appreciated

Change the SSID on your mesh and then connect everything to that.

Yes, and the next step is turn off the Wi-Fi on the Plusnet router or change its SSID. Then you can be sure the printer is on the same network as the client.

different subnets init.

set the tenda to bridge mode or it creates its own network on a different subnet.

my hp printer doesn't work on 5Ghz or mixed 2.4 / 5GHz either - had to set up a separate network on just 2.4Ghz then it works fine - it's just a pain to print from as you have to swap onto the guest network if you want to print
