Looking at getting a new pair of Merrell shoes. The ones I'm after are available in Goretex XCR, or with Merrell's own waterproof membrane "WTPF" for a few quid less.
Anyone know if its as waterproof and breatheable as XCR?

Waterproof - probably
Breathable - doubtful
Just get the Goretex ones.

And try some on. I always need one size bigger with merrell

I'm happy with sizing, I've had several pairs of them and they all fit fine.
