"They like the English way of education, the positivity and can-do attitude. They come here and they feel free."

it wasa tory telling us how this eutopian bliss of low tax and strivers means everyone is flocking to live here

Next week he will be telling us why immigrants can **** off home

Weak polemic delivered through Tory tinted glasses

Surprising for The telegraph but there you have it

Liberal use of the word English when in reality he meant British/Britain as well

Not exactly a neutral source as junky said.
Apart from the fact that Froome is African (and more importantly identifies himself as african), I see nothing wrong with portraying sports stars as english. The scots and welsh claim their own often enough.

As Dave showed so well with the Scottish Murray English [ pretty tenous with Froome tbh] means english and the rest are British

TBH I dont think [ some of] the English can help themsleves nor realise they do it

what a pathetic article.
the segue from forcing Englishness on Froome to a student claiming that half of young French people want to leave is beyond tenuous.
shove it Woppit.

We had a French software engineer join us, pretty much agreeing with the sentiment of that article. He then left to start his own SW company, still in the UK.
