You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
A very I'll looking rat has been in the yard for a couple of days at work. Others have let it be, I thought they wimped out so decided on a mercy killing. Rubber glove on the end of a pedal spanner then WHACK...... I saluted it and hummed the "last post" then put it in the bin......
Will karma give me a lottery win or an ironic death involving a the collapse of giant pedal spanner outside of a pedal spanner factory?
I had to do the same with a pigeon the other night. Our cat got it and it's neck looked broken but it was still flapping about. Had to be done.
I then won £29.90 on the euro millions but I'm not 100% certain that the two were connected because the next day my bottom bracket needed replacing.
Just to clarify I didn't kill a rat by hitting it with a pigeon.

I once witnessed a pigeon killed with a pigeon. I gone with my dad clay pigeon shooting and some one hit a clay a lump of which then brought down a pigeon of the feathered variety.
I ran over a duckling with my front wheel on Friday, it burst and it's guts sprayed all over my left shoe. Couldn't avoid it as a gaggle of them & parents crossed over the towpath. I still feel bad about it
Don't think about it too much, or you'll go quackers.
