You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Life after viewranger has lead me to memory map. Been trying it out for a few days, like it and that you can download the whole country offline. £40 per year is a bit more expensive than OS but knowing that everything is offline in 25k & 50k is comforting.
When downloading gpx files from walk highlands, viewranger would should arrows between the way points. MM doesn't show these. Any idea how to get them to show?
My viewranger still seems to work fine?
My OS sub finished at end of Jan. Can't renew it and the new app, outdoor active is completely untrustworthy for offline use.
I did download the OS maps offline and blocked VR from contacting server to use only offline, but it has now lost all offline maps I spent days downloading.
No worries, now I can replace my phone
tracks don't have arrows, routes do, right click menu.... operations->convert to route.
They're definitely routes, but no arrows shown. Same routes when downloaded to viewranger have arrows.
This is all on android. When editing route, have option to convert to track.
Just checked on android - you're right, no arrows. On the PC there are arrows, which sometimes disappear if you change the line thickness - but that doesn't have any effect on android. Can't see a way to get arrows - odd.
