Has anyone got an old copy of the melody maker with the Mr Angry column in it that I can buy?

Or at least a scan of the column?

I loved his advice to shakespeares sister..
f--k off shopping you dismal pair of tarts.
Used to enjoy Nods Corner as well. All about the mishaps of the Neffies drummer and 'those rotten bastards' who got him in trouble with McCoy.

Still makes me smile now....

Does anyone remember the Melody Maker turning into a glossy comic for its last few issues?

Yeah I picked one of those up and it was sad to see. I'd stopped reading it ages before, but it seemed to struggle keeping relevant when indie music became more mainstream (and the term itself became obsolete).
Allan Jones leaving probably killed it - veteran of the music biz and had successfully edited it for beards.
See the NME is still going.
