Blimey, ok it's been 6 months since I changed my tires but that was painful. Used to pride myself in tris at how fast I could change a road bike tire, but Schwabe Ralph's to Nics just took an age.
Every mistake in the book - only thing I did right was the rotational sign was the correct way round. Ok, second tire was half the time of the first, but even so, that was awful.
That was embarrassing,,..good job I wasn't out with friends!!
Old faithful is looking like an antique these days - little wheels, long stem, narrow bars and a HT. Felt weird riding around in the dark on it after such a long time.

I went for a ride years ago with singlespeedstu and his missus. Had to change tubes partway round...tyre off no problems. Could I get the tyre back on? Could I ****! Stu took the wheel off me and in a flurry of fists and rubber, handed it back to me with the tyre back in place - no levers used. It was a bit embarrassing. 😳
