just watching him on sky arts in OZ with the melbourne orchestra still got the voice
The Melbourne show is excellent, one of his best, but was almost 10 years ago. The Loaf has not been too well over the last few years and is only a shadow of his former self these days unfortunately. Sky Arts showed a documentary recently ("In Search of Paradise") about one of his latest tours which - as a fan - I found hard going. Just felt really sorry for the guy as he was still trying to give 110% like the old days.

Can remember seeing him in the 80's at the NEC, turned the PA off and could hear him singing clear as day at the back, very powerful voice
Saw him in '85 at the Brighton Center. Fantastic - and got his autograph afterwards. Saw him bfore the show across the road in a gaming arcade - he was a big bloke!
I see he's on tour right now - and coincidentally, I saw him in a re run episode of "House" last night!
