I sodding hate Star Wars.
Guy I did my apprenticeship with used to call me his parawan and talk like Yoda the whole time. Think he was really disappointed I never played along.... not surprising since I've never watched a whole episode.
Find it really strange that there are so many memes, so much merchandising and so on related to it.
Even my aunt started saying "May the 4th be with you" the other day. FFS, she's 64 and never seen the films....
My nephew even has a Darf Vader t-shirt....

I don't know - putting 'the' between the two makes it English again.
Americans would just say May 4th. which doesn't work.
I'd say my birthday was June the 25th if asked, I think, and not feel I'd americanised it?
