Hi all,
I have a 12v / 8A air pump but can't get the pump to where I need it for inflating a pool, so need to extend the cable to get the length. Im worried about the max length cable I can get away with?
Any advice much appreciated!

I wouldn't worry about it, a long cable will drop the voltage a bit, but it will just pump a bit slower....

Just wondering if it will be too slow though. I had bought a little 240v to 12v converter but discovered it only put out 5A, which made the pump run so slowly it was letting more air back than it put in
