Now it's not exactly my purchasing choice, but in the cupboard is a multi pack of Walkers MAX double crunch crisps. I feel quite annoyed about how thick the plastic of the individual packets is and I don't have Twitter so where else shall I gauge the opinion of the masses on this?

Why are they doing this? Everyone around the world is by now well aware of the environmental impact of plastics yet Walkers decide their crisps need to be in extra thick plastic packaging.

Didn't they launch a recycle project a few years back where you can send them off somewhere?

There is a charity in Stowmarket that collects and recycles crisp packets.

Yes my OH has started doing it. I know at least two towns near us that do it. Just don't see how that makes it ok to use excess plastic for stuff.

May as well moan about the sachet of scented beads for use in washing machines that came free. Dangerous to aquatic life. Priorities eh?
