Were just about to buy a trampoline for the garden, We have a cicular flowerbed that can be removed.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can put down underneath it to stop weeds coming up.

I've contemplated the membrane and woodchip idea but know that they can go everywhere and also become a poo stop for the local feline community.

astroturf?

i've got membrane and woodchip, and haven't suffered too bad from cat poo (but we do have a dog) but if I was starting now I'd be tempted by artificial grass.

Also done membrane and wood chip but not ideal for the reasons you've mentioned. Artificial turf does sound like a plan.

I honestly haven't even considered Astroturf, what a great idea.

I know nothing about this, can it be cut to fit in one piece ie a ten foot circle ?

Astro turf is a great idea. We circled off a corner of our garden and put membrane down and bark chips. But weeds still grow through the membrane and cats use it as a later tray. Might give the astro turf a go.

Yes, most proper suppliers (meaning, not Aldi/supermarkets etc) will have rolls of 3m or 4m widths available

No help but on the iPhone the title comes up as

Matting for underneath a tramp...

How disappointing.

I was in Sweden recently and they are using Astroturf in the traffic islands at road junctions.

In my experience chickens keep it clear of most vegetation.

I've got nothing underneath but the weeds don't like the shade. They grow a bit in the summer but never get up to the trampoline.
