Ok, so I know I'm not very good at maths and I'm revising for my production economics exam tomorrow and I have come unstuck with this part of a question..
Output will fall to 60 bricks per hour which is 25% lower than for the one an a half brick wall...
So I need to find the figure which is 25% more than 60 but I don't think I can use 60 as my base figure as this is the end result..
HELP!! please
cheers
Scott
if 60 is 25% less than the answer, then 60 is 75% of the answer.
So 100%/75% x 60 = 80
to check: 80 x 75% = 60
ok so just worked this out. Dam it is simple.
it would be 60 x 100 / 75 = 80 bricks per hour
Thanks, however the thanks goes to the GF for finding the answer on a shopping website.
Cheers
Scott
Stoner thanks for that

60 is 75% of the original output, so divide by 75 and multiply by 100 to get the original output.
