Couldn't see another thread- the final is 6.15 tonight if anyone else is watching.
Not sure about the new judge yet ?
Shes obviously used to the TV cameras.
Starting to get evens with Greg on the funny face count, but not as annoying as Monica's "Bootuer"
We are 2 behind so its a Masterchef Marathon tonight.
I feel there is a very clear favourite and it'll be a travesty if they don't win - an almost faultless performance so far...I won't say who as you're behind.
The new judge is trying too hard IMHO....but as you say, she does like to be on telly (to the detriment of her restaurant, allegedly).
Oooh! Thanks I’d have missed it otherwise.

I have a god idea....
I think Sagar will win if he does not over do it.
or leaves piping bag in his dish
Yay! The right chef won, in my opinion.
I'd love to see a "behind the scenes" film. How they manage the cooking and tasting....if they all cook at the same time, by the time they get to judge the third chef, their dishes would be a cold congealed mess....I assume they taste all the dishes together and then film the fake tasting afterwards.

Added flavour LOL!

True, but they are all brilliant chefs IMO.
I should be the food taster LOL!
There was only 2 horses in that race but all 3 are amazing cooks. Sagar could have done if he’d not made that small error.
The BeanZ household was slit, MrsBeanZ voting Charlie and me favouring Nikita...
All 3 were brilliant in thier own way and I'm sure they'll all do very well out of the show .
I actually enjoy the skills tests the most..those are dishes I can learn from and cook...the other ones have so many esoteric ingredients and techniques (which aren't explained in any detail)...I admire them but could never do anything like what they do. Zero artistic flair for a start! 😂

And us - amazing really how many " professionals: fluff them tho
I don’t really see the point of them. When in a professional situation are they going to be given a surprise dish to cook, with no opportunity to learn how to do it first, if they’ve never done it before?
Pre show favourite was Charlie, but Nikita was the right choice on the night
Yes, don’t think there was much doubt as the episode unfolded. I too like the skills test as it shows things we mortals might actually be able to aspire to do for ourselves. The initiative test is good for taking the competitors off the prepared script. I find the new judge highly irritating - her difficulty in dishing out praise must make her a nightmare of a boss.
Charlie looked like he'd had enough
The first dish that Nikita made looked vile
Sagar won the backstory contest. It's a lot easier going all in as a junior in a fancy restaurant in London with a nice middle class background to fall back on.
Anna was fine as a judge, I like her.
We've thought Nikita was nailed on for weeks as she's just so consistent. Right result imo.
Some top notch nosh cooked this series by all three of them
Sagar definitely won the 'if you had one of them round to cook for you, which one would you choose?' contest. But I think the right one won.
I think Charlies background in fancy London eateries meant that he was cooking dishes for food critics rather than the kind of thing most people would really want to eat
I really like Anna. She's a sort of female Greg with the facial gymnastics
